Prof. Zhang Jiangcheng, dean of Shaanxi Normal University''s International School of Chinese Studies, attended the China Annual Conference for International Education 2015 held in Beijing during October 23 and 25, and spoke at the Sino-US Student Mobility Forum.
Zhang was invited to speak at the "Internationalization and Students --- Sino-US Student Mobility Forum", which was presided over by Association of American State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) vice chair Ms Arlene Jackson. His speech titled "Open the City Gate to Welcome U.S. Guests: About U.S. Students Studying at SNNU" presented the history, featured activities and services of SNNU''s U.S. students and analyzed the characteristics of SNNU''s international student recruitment and administration, which was well received and applauded by the audience.
Organized by China Association for International Educational Exchange, the conference is an annual meeting place for Chinese and foreign educational communities and one of the most influential platform for international educational exchange in China. The theme of this 16th conference is "Global Green Growth: School, Enterprise, Society, Paths to Sustainable Development and System Innovation".
Educators, educational administrators, experts and scholars attended the 22 international forums and symposiums, which cover a wide range of topics from international student mobility, government financing for international student, educational quality assurance, Sino-foreign educational joint-venture.
