Welcome to Parallel Computing and Big Data Analysis Lab at Shaanxi Normal University
We are a research group working at computational thinking, parallel computing, web service and ontology, learning analysis, spatial data analysis, and tourism flow forecasting. We choose、test and tailor the different computing paradigms with the most approriate models, platforms and development packages for different research projects.
To realize effective parallel computing, we use Hadoop platform, which is helpful in dealing with bid data, such as tourism spatial data analysis and travel destinations recommendation. To forecast tourism flow, we adopt neural network、time series and other mathmatical model, that are implemented by using Python, Matlab, Java programming language. To develop web tourism service, we use ontology-based semantic matching method, Java/J2EE technology stack. We also concern on online learning behaviors, which is conducted by using learning analysis software package that involves SPSS, SAS, UCINET,etc.
