How to Apply
All international students are encouraged to apply for Chinese Government Scholarship at Shaanxi Normal University
You need to follow these steps to be enrolled in Shaanxi Normal University under the Chinese Government Scholarship Program
1. Choose Your Desired Major at SNNU
Choose your desired major by clicking on http://admission.snnu.edu.cn/EN/Info/info.asp?id=55 Our University has internationally famous faculty with excellent research environment.
2. Check Your Entry Requirements
You need to satisfy the entry requirements and SNNU language requirements. If you need help, head to http://admission.snnu.edu.cn/EN/News/news_list6.asp?cla=55 and iso@snnu.edu.cn for assistance.
3. Apply for Chinese Government Scholarship on CSC Application System
Once you have chosen your desired program of study and you fulfill entry requirements. Click on http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login to register (You need to create your login id and follow the steps). Fill out your details and upload your supporting documents. Note: after submitting DO NOT forget to take print of the application form, sign it and post this form with all details to our given address.
4. Also Apply on the Online Application System of SNNU
Submit your application at http://iso.snnu.edu.cn/member/login.do . Click ‘Register’ and fill out your details.
5. If You Choose CSC Program-Chinese University Program, Please Send Documents to International Students Office of SNNU
After fulfilling all the requirements, you need to send the following documents to the International Students Office of SNNU.
(1)Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship（written in Chinese or English）
Ensure you have both submitted it online and printed the hard copy.
(2)Notarized highest diploma（photocopy）
Prospective diploma winners must submit official document issued by your current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date.
Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
(3)Academic transcripts （written in Chinese or English）
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
(4)A Study Plan or Research Proposal （written in Chinese or English）
This should be a minimum of 800 words.
(5) Two Recommendation Letters （written in Chinese or English）
Applicants must submit two recommendation letters signed by professor or associate professor.
(6) A CD of your own works （only required for arts students）
Applicants for music studies are requested to submit a CD of their own musical works. Applicants for fine arts programs must submit a CD of their own works which include two sketches, two color paintings and two other works.
(7) Foreigner Physical Examination Form（photocopy）
The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid.
Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months.
Pleases keep the original copy of the Form for school registration.
(8) Valid HSK Certificate （if available）
NOTE:
All the documents should be bound together on top left corner in the order of( 1 )to( 8）.You should submit TWO sets of bound documents to Shaanxi Normal University before the deadline.No application documents will be returned.
6. Interview
After receiving your documents, SNNU will conduct online interview. Please follow the guidelines for interview.
7. An Offer Letter will be Sent to You If You are Enrolled
We will send you a letter of offer through email if everything is fine or a conditional offer if more steps are required. SNNU will inform you of these steps.
8. Accept your offer
If you receive an email of offer you can acceptor reject the offer. If you accept the offer, you need to reply our email of confirming that you will join SNNU. After that we ask your post address so that we will send you hard copy of the Admission Letter.
