To encourage international students to learn Chinese off campus, improve their Chinese level, broaden their horizons, feel traditional Chinese culture, and experience Shaanxi local customs, SNNU holds four Language Practice Activities every semester (once a month on average). The destinations of Language Practice Activity are scenic spots and cultural relic sites in and around Xi’an City. So far, ISO has organized students to visit Terra Cotta Warriors, Huaqing Hot Spring, Ancient City Wall, Small wild Goose Pagoda, Yang Mausoleum of Han Dynasty, Guanzhong Art Folk Museum, Mount Nanwutai, Zhao Mausoleum of Tang Dynasty, Mount Chakpori, Yuanjiacun Village, Water Street, etc. In the future, ISO will organize students to go further, such as Longmen Grottoes, Shaolin Temple, Hexi Corridor, Silk Road, etc.

       One week before the Language Practice Activity, ISO will publish notice via WeChat and notice board. If you want to participate, bring your student ID card and half price ticket fee (check the notice for final cost) to ISO and find Ms. Wang. Language Practice Activity only allows international student himself to participate,  you are not allowed to bring family members or friends.
